Hours & Location
What are your opening hours?
We're open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. We're closed on weekends and public holidays. However, our 24/7 cardboard cages are accessible anytime.
Where are you located?
We're located at 11 Victa Way, Bomaderry NSW 2541, in the industrial area. Easy access from Nowra, Berry, and surrounding areas.
Do I need to book an appointment?
No booking required! Just drive in during business hours and our team will assist you. It's first-come, first-served.
Can I drop off waste on weekends?
Our main facility is closed on weekends, but our 24/7 cardboard cages are always accessible for free cardboard and paper recycling.
Pricing & Payments
How much does it cost to drop off waste?
General waste is $0.42 per kilogram (ex-GST), which works out to $420 per tonne. Cardboard, paper, scrap metal, and e-waste are completely FREE.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, there is a minimum charge for general waste. Please contact us on (02) 4421 4597 for current minimum charges.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, EFTPOS, and credit cards for your convenience.
Do you charge for cardboard and scrap metal?
No! Cardboard, paper, and scrap metal recycling is completely free. Our 24/7 cardboard cages are always accessible.
How do you weigh the waste?
We use a certified weighbridge. You drive onto the bridge when you arrive (tare weight), drop off your waste, then drive back onto the bridge (gross weight). The difference is your waste weight.
What We Accept
What types of waste do you accept?
We accept general waste from construction, renovation, and household cleanouts. This includes mixed waste, timber, furniture, and more. We also offer free recycling for cardboard, paper, and all types of scrap metal.
Can I drop off furniture and household items?
Yes, household furniture and cleanout items are accepted as general waste.
Do you accept asbestos?
No, we cannot accept asbestos in any form. Please contact a licensed asbestos removal specialist or the NSW EPA for proper disposal options.
What about hazardous materials?
We cannot accept hazardous materials including chemicals, paint, solvents, gas bottles, medical waste, or batteries. Contact your local NSW EPA for safe disposal options.
Do you accept ewaste?
Yes, we accept electronic waste including computers, monitors, printers, and small appliances. Contact us for details on specific items and any applicable fees.
Cardboard & Recycling
Are the cardboard cages really available 24/7?
Yes! Our two large cardboard cages are located at the front of our facility and are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
What types of cardboard do you accept?
We accept all clean cardboard including boxes, corrugated cardboard, cardboard packaging, tubes, and paper products like office paper, newspapers, and magazines. Cardboard boxes can be delivered as-is — no need to flatten.
Do I need to remove tape and labels from boxes?
No, small amounts of tape, labels, and staples are fine. The recycling process can handle these.
Can I drop off wet or soiled cardboard?
No, please only drop off clean, dry cardboard. Wet or food-contaminated cardboard cannot be recycled and contaminates the entire load.
What happens to the recycled cardboard?
All cardboard is baled using our industrial baling equipment and sent to recycling facilities where it's processed into new cardboard boxes and paper products.
Scrap Metal
What types of metal do you accept?
We accept all types of scrap metal including steel, iron, copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, and more. Both ferrous (magnetic) and non-ferrous metals are welcome.
Is scrap metal recycling really free?
Yes, completely free! We accept all scrap metal at no charge during business hours.
Do I need to separate different types of metal?
It's helpful if you can separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals, but it's not required. We can handle mixed metal loads.
Can I drop off old appliances?
Yes, appliances like washing machines, dryers, ovens, and refrigerators are accepted as scrap metal for free recycling.

Do you provide weighbridge dockets?
Yes, every drop off receives a weighbridge docket showing the date, weight, and charges. Perfect for job costing, tax records, and client billing.
Can my team drop off waste regularly?
Absolutely! We support local businesses and trades with fast turnaround and clear pricing at the weighbridge. Whether you're dropping off daily or monthly, we're ready to help.
Do you offer business pricing?
All customers receive the same transparent pricing: $0.42/kg or $420/tonne for general waste. No hidden fees or surprise charges.
General Questions
How long does a typical drop off take?
Most drop offs take 10-15 minutes from arrival to departure. Drive in, weigh, unload, weigh again, pay, and you're done!
Can I get help unloading?
Our team can provide guidance and assistance where needed, especially for directing you to the right area.
What size vehicles can you accommodate?
We can accommodate everything from small trailers to large trucks. Our weighbridge and facility are designed for commercial vehicles.
Do you recycle or just send to landfill?
We're committed to resource recovery. We offer free recycling for cardboard and scrap metal, and work to divert as much as possible from landfill.

Yes! We're proudly locally owned and operated, supporting Shoalhaven jobs and community initiatives. Owner Ben Hobbs continues the tradition started in the 1990s.
